The regular meeting of the East Wenatcnee uity council was called
to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. eresent were Councilmen Doug
' Hanna, Art O'Neal, Clili Pveaten, Ld Rich; Attorney John Carlson,
ClerK Vorotna McGee and Officer Clifford Hahn.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.

' Art O'Neal moved to paythe bills; seconded by Doug Hanna and
passed unanimously.
Art O'Neal reported the Cleaners will improve the cleaning
service on the police uniforms.
Ed Rich reported that bids will be opened on the Baker street
project at the February 7, 1972 meeting. Mayor Lannoye requested
all councilmen be present at that time. Ed Rich stated that the
City will have to obtain engineering services for the construction
project.
Mayor Lannoye and Council members discussed shoulder emblems for
the Police Department. Officer Hahn was instructed to obtain a
sample emblem for presentation at the next meeting.
The Mayor and Council discussed with the City Attorney the
proposed swimming pool in the Douglas County Area, and were unable
to reach a conclusion until the Douglas County Prosecutor contacts
the City regarding poss&ble action to be taken by the Council.
Cliff Tvedten moved for adjournment; seconded by Ed Rich and passed
unanimously.
