The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee City Council was called to
order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Cliff I
Tvedten, Doug Hanna, Ed Rich; Attorney John Carlson and Clerk
Dorotha McGee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
The bills were presented to the Council

Ed Rich moved that the bills be paid; seconded by Cliff Tvedten and
passed unanimously.
Mayor Lannoye presented a letter from Attorney Gordon Kelley stating
that Merchant Policeman Ron Weaver was on vacation and requests to
attend a meeting later this month. Since Mr. Weaver will not return
until after the next regular meeting, he will be asked to attend the
first meeting in October.
Mayor Lannoye stated that he expects to receive approval for the use
of Arterial funds for raising the manholes on Main Street and for the
necessary work needed to lower the sidewalk on Ramaker Way.
Mayor Lannoye read a letter from Douglas Co, Solid Waste Management
requesting that the City appoint a representative to the Board.
Mayor Lannoye will request that Mr. O'Neal serve as said representative.
Mayor Lannoye is donating �200.00 in merchandise to the City Parks
Dept. for the old park mower. Council members gave their approval.
Doug Hanna moved that the meeting be adjourned; seconded by Cliff
Tvedten and passed unanimously.
