The regular meeting of the East ;Wenatchee City Council was called to
order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Darrell
McNeill, Ray Duncan, Cliff Tvedten, Doug Hanna, Ed Rich; Attorney
John Carlson and Clerk Dorotha McGee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved ad read.
The bills were presented to the Council as follows:
Federal Shared Revenue warrant no. 016
Central Stores Revolving Fund
Current Expense warrants nos. 5626 - 5640

Mayor Lannoye reported that a truck and snow plow have been purchased
for the street department.
The Mayor reported that a drainage problem exists on 9th street. After
a discussion, it was decided to have a catch basin installed and
connected to the storm drain on 9th street.
Doug Hanna made a motion that the next regular meeting be held on
Wednesday, September 4, 1974; seconded by Ed Rich and passed by a
unanimous vote.
The City Council approved purchase of center and gutter brooms for
the street sweeper.
Darrell McNeill moved that the city pay an additional $50.00 per month
in wages to Thomas Winter until the new work program goes into effect;
seconded by Cliff Tvedten and passed unanimously.
John Carlson presented Ordinance No. 199 to the Mayor & Council.
Said ordinance is in regards to annual leave for city employees.
Doug Hanna moved to approve and adopt Ordinance no. 199; motion
seconded by Ed Rich and passed by a unanimous vote.

John Carlson presented Ordinance no. 200 to the Mayor & Council;
said ordinance will allow a business license to be pro -rated after
January 1st. Ed Rich moved to approve and adopt Ordinance no. 200;
' seconded by Ray Duncan and passed unanimously.
Darrell McNeill and Doug Hanna were appointed to assist Jimmy Smith
and Tom Winter with the planting in the new park.

John Carlson reported that he has discussed the Hahn matter regarding
travel expenses with the County Prosecutor. He has assured the
Prosecutor that the City will comply with the ruling of the Disability
Board if said expenditures are legal.
Doug Hanna moved that the meeting be adjourned; seconded by Darrell
j°IcNeill and passed by a unanimous vote.
