The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee City Council was called to
order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Ray Duncan
'Darrell McNeill, Cliff Tvedten; Attorney John Carlson and Clerk
Dorotha McGee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
The bills were presented to the Council as follows:

' Ray Duncan moved that the bills be paid; seconded by Darrell McNeill
and passed unanimously.
Mayor Lannoye reported that French, Hamilton and Standerfer streets
have been re -surfaced. He also reported that the City employees are
working part time on the park at 9th and Baker Street and that he
has received a cpmplaint about the weeds at 12th and Baker. Said
weeds are on private property.
The Mayor stated that the City cannot purchase a truck from the State
except as a bid item.
With unanimous approval of the City Council members, Mayor Lannoye
appointed Dr. J. Darrell Morrison, Ed Dillon and John Craven to the
Board of Adjustment, each for a two year term. He expressed apprec-
iation to the Board for their aid to the city. He also eommended
Mike Moro, summer employee, for the excellent work he is doing in the
Park.
Mr. & Mrs. Phil McGee and Mr. & Mrs. Paul Jarolimek were introduced to
those present. Mr. McGee spoke to the Council regarding his candidacy
for sheriff of Douglas County.
Cliff Tvedten moved that the meeting be adjourned; seconded by Darrell
McNeill and passed unanimously.
