Darrell McNeill moved that the bills be
paid; seconded by Ray Duncan
and passed unanimously.
Mayor Lannoye stated that Councilman Hanna had been excused due to the
loss of his mother.
The Mayor reported that Mott Liek had assisted
Jimmy Smith in locating
the sprinkler outlets in the park.
The Mayor also reported that Ray Duncan
has been appointed to the
Douglas County Disability Board with the
first meeting scheduled
for May 27, 1974.
Mayor Lannoye stated that the ditch on 13th street was cleaned by
Cascade Cable Constructors,
John Carlson presented Resolution no. 1047 to the Mayor and Council.
Said Resolution states that payment has been made in full by Mrs.
Harry Walker to the Accumulative Library Fund on a real estate contract
and authorizes the city to issue a warranty deed to Mrs. Walker. Ed
Rich moved to approve Resolution no. 1047; seconded by Darrell McNeill
and passed by a unanimous vote.
Mayor Lannoye presented an annexation petition containing signatures
'of owners of approximately 83.9% of the assessed valuation of the area
requesting annexation. Darrell McNeill moved that the City accept the
annexation petition and set.the public hearing for June 3, 1974; motion
seconded by Cliff Tvedten and passed unanimously.
