The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee City Council was called
to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Ray
Duncan, Doug Hanna, Darrell McNeill, Ed Rich; Attorney John Carlson
and Clerk Dorotha McGee.
Mayor Lannoye announced that a meeting will be held at 8:30 p.m.
with persons who are petitioning for annexation to the City.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.

Darrell McNeill moved that the bills
be paid; seconded by Ray
Duncan and passed unanimously.
Mayor Lannoye reported that the estimated costs to repair the loader
will be 1,500.00 to 1,800.00. He also stated that the dander has
not arrived.
Darrell McNeill reported on his conference with the Chamber of
Commerce regarding the parking lot sign.
Ray Duncan made a motion that the City not conduct a door to door
census in 1975; seconded by Ed Rich and passed by a unanimous vote.
The Council members agreed unanimously that the fines for overtime
parking are to be increased to $2.00, effective immediately.
John Carlson presented Ordinance no. 204 to the Mayor & Council.
Said ordinance providdg for the disposal of abandoned vehicles on
public property. Ray Duncan moved to approve and pass Ordinance no.
204; seconded by Ed Rich and passed unanimously.
John Carlson presented Ordinance No. 205 th the Mayor & Council.
Said ordinance provides for the disposal of vehicles abandoned on
£private property.
Ed Rich moved to approve and adopt Ordinance No. 205; seconded by
Ray Duncan and passed unanimously.
At 8:30 p.m. a meeting was held with the petitioners requesting
' annexation to the City. Present was Mr. Ed Dillon representing the
petitioners. The following three items were discussed:
(1) The City will require a0option of proposed zoning regulations
as set forth in Ordinance no. 138- Suburban Comprehensive Plan -
and the property will be zoned, if annexed that part south and east
of 3rd St. N.E. as Commercial residential IC-R); that part north
and west of 3rd St. N.E., as single family residential (R-1) as
defined in Ordinance no. 129.
(2) The City is in favor of the annexation;
(3) There will be no requirement of assumption of indebtedness,
as the City has no indebtedness.
Doug Hanna moved that the City approve Item l; motion seconded by
Darrell `McNeill and passed unanimously.
Darrell McNeill moved that the City approve item 2 and accept the
annexation; motion seconded by Ed Rich and passed by a unanimous
vote.
Ray Duncan moved that the City approve item 3; seconded by Ed Rich
and passed unanimously.

Hanna and passed unanimously.
