Present were Councilmen Doug ' Hanna, Darrell McNeill, Ed Rich, Ray Duncan, Cliff Tvedten; Attorney John Carlaon and Clerk Dorotha McGee. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. The bills were presented to the Council as follows: Current expense warrants nos. 6037 - 6049 Charles Kay Walker $734.92 Dennis A. Mengelos 650.17 Dennis A. Winter 370.80 ' Jimmy Glen Smith 397.34 Washington Physicians Service 47.46 Secur ity Bank of Washington 103.20 Federal Shared Revenue Warrant no. 020 Andrews Equipment Service 4,269.13 Doug Hanna moved that the bills be paid, and check to Andrews Equipment be held pending receipt of their check for 175.00; seconded by Cliff Tvedten and passed unanimously. A Public Hearing was held on the proposed 3rd St. to Grant Road annexation, and Ordinance no. 211. Said ordinance relates to the approval and passing of the annexation. No person appeared for dr-against said annexation. Cliff Tvedten made a motion to approve the annexation and Ordinance no. 211; seconded by Doug Hanna and passed unanimously. John Carlson presented Ordinance no. 212 to the Mayor and Council. Said ordinance is for the purpose of amending Ordinance no. 203; and sets the salary for Chief of Police at 950.00 per month, Planning Consultant 50.00 per month and Bldg. Inspector 50.00 per month. Ed Rich moved to approve and pass Ordinance No. 212; motion seconded by Ray Duncan and passed unanimously. The Mayor and City Council members discussed the proposed Rock Island Road improvement. Ed Rich moved that the City calls for bids for said street improvement with bid opening scheduled for June 2, IQ75 at the regular meeting; Cliff Tvedten seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
