Present were Councilmen Ray Duncan, Darrell McNeill, Hartley Beeler; Attorney Neil Fuller and Clerk Dorotha McGee. ' The minutes of the January 3rd and January 17th meetings were read and approved. Freeman 781.321 Ray Duncan moved that the bills be paid; motion seconded by Darrell McNeill and passed unanimously. A discussion was held regarding the population count of the City for 1977; Ray Duncan made a motion that a door to door count not be , taken; motion seconded by Darrell McNeill and passed by a unanimous vote. 1 1 Neil Fuller presented Ordinance No. 236 to the Mayor and Council. Said ordinance is for the purpose of amending Ordinance No. 233 to include a Patrolman 1st Class -In charge. Ray Duncan made a motion to approve and pass Ordinance No. 236; seconded by.Hartley Beeler and passed unanimously. The Clerk reported to the Council that she had been unable to use 10 days of vacation time in 1976 and requested permission to continue same over into 1977; Council members indicated they are willing to do so, and requested the Clerk call this to their attention later in the year after she has acctued the 22 days provided for by City Ordinance. The Clerk informed Council members that the City has received Anti - Recession funds in the amount of $2,971.00. �, discussion was held regarding allocation of these funds; council will study this matter before reaching a decision. Peter Adelshon again discussed the matter of Security Police approval with the Council. The Mayor requested that he file an application with the Police Department. Councilman Beeler inquired about- appointing a councilman to fulfill the position left vacant by the resignation of„John Willeford. The City Council members will inquire of local citizens interested irs serving on the Council. Darrell McNeill moved that the meeting be adjourned; motion seconded by Ray Duncan and passed by a unanimous vote. Mayor Clerk
