'Meeting was called to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present: Ray
Duncan, Ed Rich, Darrell McNeil, Attorney Neil Fuller and Clerk Peggy
McArthur. Absent: Evan Sperline and Hartley Beeler.
Motion was made to approve minutes as circulated by Darrell McNeil,
Seconded by Ray Duncan and passed unanimously.
Bills were approved as presented. Motion made by Ed Rich and Seconded
by Ray Duncan.
Authorization was given by Council to advertise in two local papers
for the Sale of a surplus tractor, no longer needed by the City of
East Wenatchee.
Authorization was given Roy Freeman to contact Ray Reeves of Ray's
Vallev Tree R Shrubbery to top the tall trees in the Park at $45.00,
an hour.
Authorization was given Roy Freeman to purchase spray for weed con-
trol.
Call for bids for Simon Street will be delayed until sewer is put in,
approximately two weeks.
Councilman, Ray Duncan stated the new sweeper for the City should
arrive April 6th or 7th.
Mayor Lannoye read a letter from Councilman Sperline concerning
North Central Reginal Library. The contractional membership cost
to the City for 1978 would be $10,448.00. This would be approx-
imately $6.15, per person if the City should wish to join. It was
decided that it would not be in the best interest of the City at
this time.
' The Council requested Ed Rich to meet with the Douglas County Engineer,
Associate Engineer and Commissioners in regards to deeding 9th Street;
City Limits at Hamilton to Baker and N. E. llth from Baker to Colorado.
