Mayor Lannoye
stated he received a pamphlet
in
the mail with
some writing on it asking
why the City
did not join the Wenatchee Public

Mayor explained *= that
the cost per
capita is based on the city's
valuation
making
the cost to the city
impractical.
The Mayor stated if the city
did
join they would
have to put a tax on

utitilies and
he felt the public would not
be
favorable to such
a proposal.
Eddie May of
Eddie Mays Flag Inn asked the
Council questions
concerning Ordinance
No. 304 as it
might apply to his business.
He
stated he did
not know about the ordinance
before and it
would put a real hardship on
him
if he had to
pay a tax on his business
