DEPARTMENT REPORTS
Police Department
Police Chief Flinner reported on the Tenth Street speed limit.
' He said he had determined the speed limit should remain at 25
miles per hour, due to the different streets entering onto Tenth,
the Church parking lot, and the amount of pedestrian traffic. He
said when he entered from the county to the city limits he only
had to brake twice to reduce his speed to the posted limit from
the county's 35 miles per hour. Council agreed the speed limit
should remain at 25 miles per hour.
