Nick said they have not been issued a building permit as yet but he said he would be working with the County as Grant Road in that area is in the County and cooperation is needed for cuts and sidewalks, etc. Nick also said Buttrey is doing extensive remodeling and that Top Foods is moving right along and should be able to meet their opening date of August 24th. Bob Goodman said Basin Asphalt had finished the road by the shop and did a good job with the paving. Bob said it would probably be within the next two or three weeks before Pro Asphalt would be paving the City Hall Parking Lot. Bob Goodman said he had asked the Engineers to look into illumination on the North side of Grant Road and perhaps, lights could be put on the existing P.U.D. poles on the South side. Bob said Douglas County would be removing approximately 100 feet of sidewalk during the construction on Grant Road and the City's share would be $839.00. Also Bob said he would like permission to have two sidewalks replaced that buckled. One sidewalk is below Telfords and the other just below the irrigation ditch and Abby's Pizza. The Council granted Bob Permission to go ahead with the projects. Acting Chief Randy Harrison said the police department had purchased a camcorder and said it works well and was within the estimated figure approved by the Council. Tery McKee made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 88-7, an Inter Local Agreement with Douglas County for the purchase of a Preliminary Engineering Study of flood control drainage system needs that has been approved and signed by the County Commissioners with attached specific geographic map to be covered by the study. Nick Wiltz read the recommendations of the Planning Commission regarding fence side and 'rear heights. After some discussion by the Council, they agreed that six foot back yard fences were too restrictive and would not give the privacy that most people are wanting when the erect a back yard fence. .any oW L'66ad /{/J Me `SOW pu eyoL OCe LLounoo ay4 10 agon Rq passed pue LassPO Lned Rq papuooas °uanoCpe o3 uoLJow a apew aaNOW L'.aal 'ssauLsnq .aayl.anj ou 6uLaq aaayl •saoLnuas 6U LaaaUL6Ua uo; pjq 04 Tpeau seM 44 Q ayq uayM paL}Lgou aq pLnoq w.aL} JLa4q PLes pue aouepualge sLy JOJ poom.aapun •.aW paiue44 aalloW Vaal •LO.aquoo POOL; u0 L'iunoo pup kgLo ay4 uaam}aq Rpngs a43 uoj ssaooud pLq ayq uL papnLOuL aq 04 alLL PLnom w.aLJ JLay; N es pue }LaswLy peonpoj4UL sLuuap/uO4.AOH10w.AL} 6uL.a9auL6u3 ay; 44LM uaaUL6u3 LLnL3 'poomuapun LLLB •6uL4aaw 3xau a43 0; JO Lud sjaaM OM4 ay3 uL ,an000 4g6Lw }e44 a6e.aano LeuoLILppe Rue uo3 pled aq aj,an8/LLauuo30W 4e43 LLounoo ay4 Rq* paa.a6e seM 3I •6uL4aaw 44SL 4snbny ayq .ao} }as aq a.an8/LLauu003W Sq sIse4 886L 6UL06UO 6uLMaLnaa 4e44 palse MeugoW AOL'PW •LLouno3 a43 10 a4OA L'q passed pup 6unoA sal L'q papuooas seM uoL;OW 886L `S uagwa4das pauado aq o4 sP18 •4aDJIS pue lJaL3/,aaunsea.al '6uLuueLd JOJ ' ,aa4ndwoo l.aom3au eaue LeooL ;Lun aa,ay4 a ,aoj spLq JOI LLeO 04 UOL40w a apew LasseO Lned 'LLounoo a43 ;o 910A L'q passed pue Lasse3 Lned Rq papuooas seM uoLJOW •saoua; pueR.aeaJ pue apLs uo 346La4 wnwLxew flood lg6La ue 6uL4sLLge4sa apol LedLOLunW aayogeuaM Ise3 ay; 10 LL aL4Ll uL suoL3oas 6uLpuawe bL-88 aoueuLP,ap gdope o4 uOL40W a apew as)JOW L'aal BILLS SUBMITTED FOR PAYMENT AUG. 1, 1988 CURRENT EXPENSE ' 1.
