Councilmember Hendricks expressed concerns of the proposed speed limit on Baker Avenue and
Eastmont Avenue. He felt the speed limit should be lower on the streets that have no sidewalks
or street lights.
Councilmember Lacy gave an update on LINK. He said the Paratransit had gone to bid,
receiving two proposals. A selection has not been made.
Councilmember Nash asked about the groundhog situation. Mayor Collings said the trapper and
the land owner offering to take the groundhogs had been contacted.
Councilmember Nash said she did not like to be polled at home regarding issues. Mayor
Collings will determine if there are restrictions on doing this and if the issues then need to be
ratified by full council at the next meeting.
