REGULAR SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CONVENED

ROLL CALL
Councilmembers Present: Councilmember Buckner, Councilmember Stanton, Councilmember Mikow,
Councilmember Nash, Councilmember Carson, Councilmember Aiken, and Mayor Lacy. Councilmember
Hendricks, excused.
Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Nash, second by Councilmember Aiken to
excuse Councilmember Hendricks from this Council meeting. The motion carried 6-0.
Staff Present: Harry Staven, Dana Barnard, Randy Harrison, Lori Barnett, Mike Martz, Bruce Nash,
Chuck Zimmerman.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
PRESENTATION
East Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce Director Dawn Collings gave a second quarter report which
included the number of tourist and relocation calls to the Chamber and the revenues and expenses of the
1999 Classy Chassis Parade.
MAYOR'S REPORT
Mayor Lacy said the Wenatchee Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau was working with the
Wenatchee Sports Council to bring tourism to the Valley.
Mayor Lacy said he met with Len Pugsley and Brian Odell at Pangborn on July 13 to see the progress of
the Spirit of Wenatchee airplane.
CONSENT CALENDAR
Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Aiken, second by Councilmember Stanton to
approve the consent calendar as presented. The motion carried, 6-0.
1. Consideration of minutes -- Regular Session, July 6, 1999
2. Consideration of Bills —
Vouchers audited and certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense
reimbursement claims certified as required by RCW 42.24.090, have been recorded on a listing that has
been made available to Council.

As of this date, July 19, 1999, Council does approve warrant numbers 99}F ough-9%2, in the total
amount of $84,710.79. Warrant number 9205 was voided.
RESOLUTION
99-07-03 A resolution adopting the East Wenatchee Six Year Transportation Improvement Program.
