ROLL CALL
Councilmembers Present: Councilmember Strict, Councilmember Aiken, Councilmember
Hendricks, Councilmember Bremmer, Councilmember Buckner, Councilmember Raab,
Councilmember DeWitt, and Mayor Lacy.
Staff Present: Dana Barnard, Linda Countryman, Randy Harrison, Bob Goodman, and Chuck
Zimmerman.

MAYOR'S REPORT
Mayor Lacy said an Events Management meeting was held at City Hall on Thursday, November
2 1 " regarding an Events Management Board for the City of East Wenatchee. He said there were
' several participants and the next meeting has been scheduled for December 4 to start
organizational efforts. He informed the group of his desire to have a Miss Veedol theme festival
in the fall and left it up to the group to decide what event should take place.
Mayor Lacy said the preliminary East Wenatchee Budget for 2003 has been submitted to
Councilmembers and action on the final budget will be taken at the 1" meeting in December. He
added the 2nd Council meeting in December falls on Christmas Eve and he would like to take care
of all business at the December 10'" Council meeting and eliminate the December 24t' Council
meeting.
CONSENT CALENDAR
City Treasurer Countryman answered questions regarding the reference to certain bills as the new
accounting software program does not yet print a reference line.
Council Action: A motion was made to approve the consent calendar as presented by
Councilmember Raab, second by Councilmember DeWitt. The motion carried, 7-0.

Vouchers audited and certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those
expense reimbursement claims certified as required by RCW 42.24.090, have been recorded on a
listing that has been made available to Council.
