BUDGET ISSUE(S)
Finance Director Nick Gerde distributed and reviewed minutes from the Budget Committee meeting held
on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
City Attorney Devin Poulson distributed a proposed Collective Bargaining Agreement to
Councilmembers, and said it will be presented at the next Council meeting for approval.
MAYORSREPORT
Mayor Pro Tern Detering noted that Mayor Lacy and himself will not be attending the next Council
meeting held on June 24, 2014, and asked Council to select a Mayor Pro Tern for that meeting.
Councilmember Buckner nominated Councimember Johnson, and Councilmember Johnson agreed. No
objections were heard.

Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Johnson, second by Councimember Collings,
to remove consideration of minutes from the Agenda regarding the Council Retreat held on May 30,

' Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Barnhart, second by
Councilmember Johnson, to approve the Agreement; and to further authorize the Mayor
to sign the Agreement. The motion carried, 6-0.
14-06-05 Approval of a Grant Application which informs grant applicants of the specific
requirements that they must comply with in order to receive grant money from the City to
help fund an event.

Councilmember Raab, to approve the Tourism Promotion Grant Application informing
grant applicants of the specific requirements that they must comply with in order to
receive grant money from the City to help fund an event. The motion carried, 6-0.
14-06-06 A Resolution of the City of East Wenatchee, Washington, establishing an application
process for the use of lodging tax revenue.

Councilmember Raab, to approve Resolution No. 2014-13, establishing an application
process for the use of lodging tax revenue. The motion carried, 6-0.

14-05-09 Consideration of a Resolution adopting an Amended Development Application Permit
Processing Cost Recovery Schedule and Repealing Resolution 07-03.

Councilmember Buckner, to adopt an Amended Development Application Permit
Processing Cost Recovery Schedule; and to further repeal Resolution 07-03. The motion
