PRESENTATION
Town Toyota Center (TTC) General Manager Mark Miller gave an annual update regarding the financial
status of the TTC which is 3% over projected sales projections. He said all the bond holders have been
paid in full, the Wenatchee Wild has signed a 10 year lease, Town Toyota has signed a 5 year agreement
for naming rights, and Pepsi has signed a 5 year lease. He also reviewed past and present events of the
TTC, and noted that in 2013 they started a scholarship program.
Finance Director Nick Gerde distributed and reviewed the minutes from the February 19, 2014 Budget
Committee meeting.

Community Development Director Lori Barnett reported that the Douglas County Port District will be
sponsoring an infrastructure Summit to briefly review Phase I of the North End or Odabashian Bridge
Area Study. The study included a market strategy and implementation plan with a major component

CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 25, 2014
' RESOLUTION NO.2014-03
A Resolution of the City of East Wenatchee, Washington authorizing the Mayor to
execute a Warranty Deed to the State of Washington.
14-02-02 An Ordinance of the City of East Wenatchee updating City policy regarding the East
Wenatchee Civil Service Commission by amending Chapter 3.04 of the East Wenatchee
Municipal Code.

Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Detering, second by
Councilmember Buckner, to approve Ordinance No. 2014-02 updating City Policy
regarding the East Wenatchee Civil Service Commission, and amend Chapter 3.04 of the
East Wenatchee Municipal Code including the text change in section 3.04.060 of the
Ordinance. The motion carried, 7-0.

• Councilmember Buckner — Minutes from the Plug -In NCW - North Central Regional Library
Board meeting held on January 29, 2014. He also submitted the Unabridged Draft Workplan for
2014 distributed at the North Central Washington Economic Development District meeting.
