Joe Schneider — 2010 Census
Mr. Schneider asked the City to display information regarding temporary part-time jobs to assist people in
filling out the Census application.
Roger Clute — Wenatchee Valley Visitors Bureau — 2009 Annual Report
Mr. Clute reviewed the annual report.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor Lacy said he is aware that there are several people here this evening to speak with regards to the
proposed Sprint Boat Races. He asked people to review the fact sheets that have been provided. He said
that a Neighborhood meeting will be held March 30, 2010, at 6:30 at City Hall. He added that an
invitation will also be sent to individuals in the community that are involved in various planning and
approval processes so that some of the concerns can be better addressed.
Denise Briggs, 3010 10h St NE, East Wenatchee, expressed several concerns regarding the Sprint Boat
Event.

1. Minutes — Regular Session, March 9, 2010
2. Consideration of February Payroll
3. Set April 13`h as a public hearing date regarding an amendment to the Six -Year
Transportation Improvement Program.
i. 2010 February Payroll — As of this date, March 23, 2010, Council does
approve payroll warrant numbers 28227 through 28312 in the total
amount of $344,707.96. Payroll warrants 28251 and 28252 were voided.
ACTION ITEMS
4. 10-03-02 Authorization to enter into contract negotiations with Forte Architects for the
remodel of City owned property into office space.
Presented by Street Superintendent Brandon Mauseth.
Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Barnhart, second by
Councilmember Johnson, to enter into contract negotiations with Forte Architects
for the remodel of City owned property into office space. The motion carried, 6-
0.
5. 10-03-03 Authorization from the Mayor to negotiate, finalize and complete an agreement
acceptable to the City for a $500,000 line of credit with Banner Bank.
Presented by Finance Director Nick Gerde.
Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Johnson, second by
Councilmember Bremmer, authorizing the Mayor to negotiate, finalize and
complete an agreement acceptable to the City for a $500,000 line of credit with
Banner Bank. The motion carried, 5-1. (Hendricks)
6. 10-03-04 Consideration of the acceptance of an Easement for the Canyon A Flood Control
Pipeline and Outfall granted by Chelan County P.U.D.
Presented by Community Development Director Lori Barnett.
Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Hendricks, second by
Councilmember Raab, to consider the acceptance of an Easement for the Canyon
A Flood Control Pipeline and Outfall granted by Chelan County P.U.D. The
motion carried, 6-0.
RESOLUTION
7. 10-02-04 A resolution of the City of East Wenatchee, Washington, authorizing the Mayor
to sign an interlocal agreement among the City of Wenatchee, Chelan County,
and Douglas County for development and implement of projects related to
regional stormwater management and planning, and establishing an Effective
Date.
Mayor Lacy read the resolution title.
