PUBLIC COMMENTS Dave Schwab, Director of Parks, 255 N Georgia Avenue, said the skating activity area at Kenroy Park in East Wenatchee has been completed and has been well received. Doug Bramlette, 435 Dorado Court, East Wenatchee, representing the East Wenatchee Rotary Club said the club would like permission from the City to place a two foot by two foot rock with Judes Oasis engraved on it, at the Judes Oasis area, located just north of the pedestrian bridge on the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail Mayor Lacy said without objection the East Wenatchee Rotary Club is granted approval of this request. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Lacy said he attended the Regional Council meeting in which they discussed allocation of the Sales and Use Tax funds. He said the City had previously received a letter from the Douglas County Regional Council indicating that they would be allocating funds for the City's overlay project on Grant Road. Presented by Community Development Director Lori Barnett. Without objection Mayor Lacy elevated the ordinance to second reading. Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Hendricks, second by Councilmember Johnson, to adopt the ordinance relating to approval .of a Development Agreement between the City of East Wenatchee and Wenatchee Production Corporation, and Selkirk Development, LLC. The motion carried, 5-0. ORDINANCE NO.2010-12 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE, WASH NGTON, RELATING TO THE APPROVAL OF A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH RCW 30.70B.170 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE, AND WENATCHEE PRODUCTIONS CORPORATION, AND SELKIRK DEVELOPMENT, LLC, CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 10-07-06 First reading of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2009-19 amending the City of East Wenatchee 2010 Budget. Presented by Finance Director Nick Gerde. Without objection Mayor Lacy elevated the ordinance to second reading. Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Buckner, second by Councilmember Raab, to adopt the ordinance amending the City of East Wenatchee 2010 Budget. The motion carried, 4-1. (Hendricks) ORDINANCE NO. 2010-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2009-19 AMENDING THE CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE 2010 BUDGET. ACTION ITEM . 10-07-07 In order for Douglas County to provide the City with a special event license for Sprint Boat Racing, the County is requiring that the City enter into an Indemnity Agreement. Presented by City Attorney Devin Poulson. Council Action: A motion was made by Councilmember Buckner, second by Councilmember Raab, authorizing the Mayor to sign the Indemnity Agreement.
