ADVERTISEMENTFOR BIDSNotice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of East Wenatchee, until 10:00:59 a.m. Pacific Time on June 16, 2022 for the Hamilton Street Improvements Project. Bid proposals will be received at the City of East Wenatchee Public Works Department, 271 9th street NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802, and will then and there be opened, read, and tabu-lated publicly. Order of magni-tude is approximately $700,000. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be con-sidered.The major items of roadway work along Standerfer Street from Valley Mall Parkway to French Avenue as well as Hamilton Street from Standerfer Street to 9th Street NE shall include, but not limited to roadway reconstruction, sidewalk, curbing, paving, strip-ing, ADA ramp improvements, illumination, stormwater system improvements, grading, water-main, and related work in accor-dance with the contract plans, spe-cial provisions, and the WSDOT/ APWA Standard Specifications.The City of East Wenatchee in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in fed-erally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this adver-tisement, disadvantaged busi-ness enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afford-ed full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invita-tion and will not be discrimi-nated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin,

Checks shall be made payable to the City of East Wenatchee.
