OATH OF OFFICE Chuck Johnson — Council Position No. 3, and Ralph Aiken — Council Position No. 7, were sworn into their positions with the oath of office given by Mayor Pro Tempore DeWitt. ROLL CALL Councilmembers Present: Councilmember Aiken, Councilmember Johnson, Councilmember Raab, Councilmember Hendricks, Councilmember McCourt, and Pro Tempore DeWitt. Councilmember Buckner and Mayor Lacy were excused. Council Action: A motion was made to excuse Councilmember Buckner this Council Meeting by Councilmember Raab, second by Councilmember Hendricks. The motion carried, 6-0. Staff Present: Dana Barnard, Lori Barnett, Teresa Allen, and Joan Sims. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS East Wenatchee resident Chuck Moser congratulated Councilmembers on their Council positions and expressed the importance of training and working well with other entities. CONSENT CALENDAR Consideration of minutes -- Regular Session, December 13, 2005 2. Consideration of Bills Vouchers audited and certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified as required by RCW 42.24.090, have been recorded on a listing that has been made available to Council. As of this date, January 10, 2006, Council does approve warrant numbers 16527 through 16528 and 16530 through 16596, in the total amount of $97,166.38, for 2005 payables. Council does approve warrant numbers 16529 and 16597 through 16605 in the total amount of $40,785.61, for 2006 payables. Warrant numbers 16515 and 16551 were voided. Council does approve payroll warrant numbers 22861 through 22947, in the total amount of $202,260.00, paid December 5, 2005, for the month of November 2005. Payroll warrant numbers 22905, 22913, and 22953 were voided. Councilmember Aiken asked for a correction to the minutes regarding a motion made and seconded to send a letter of support for legislation to allow a Public Facilities District. Mr. Aiken said he did not second the motion.
