The “Citizen Comments” period is to provide the opportunity for members of the public to address the Council on items not listed on the agenda. Request to suspend the second reading of Ordinance 2022-05. Motion by City Council to accept the planning commission recommendation and approve Ordinance 2022-05 amending the Greater East Wenatchee Area Comprehensive Plan as presented. b. First reading of Ordinance 2022-06, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City of East Wenatchee to change the zoning of certain property from Residential Medium to Residential High Density/Office – Curtis Lillquist, Planning Manager. Request to suspend the second reading of Ordinance 2022-06. Request to suspend the second reading of Ordinance 2022-04. Motion by City Council to approve Ordinance 2022-04 amending chapter 9.12 of the East Wenatchee Municipal Code to include mayoral authority to ban sales and discharge fireworks as presented. f. First reading of Ordinance 2022-09, amending chapter 8.16 of the East Wenatchee Municipal Code to prohibit sales and discharge of fireworks within the City, except for licensed public displays – Sean Lewis, Assistant City Attorney. Request to suspend the second reading of Ordinance 2022-09. Motion by City Council to approve Ordinance 2022-09 prohibiting the sale and discharge of fireworks within the City as presented. g. First reading of Ordinance 2022-10, amending chapter 8.16 of the East Wenatchee Municipal Code to allow sales and discharge of fireworks within the City for New Year’s, and prohibit the sales and discharge of fireworks at all other times – Sean Lewis, Assistant City Attorney. Request to suspend the second reading of Ordinance 2022-10. Motion by City Council to suspend the second reading and approve Ordinance 2022-10 as presented. h. Resolution 2022-15, authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement between Pacific Security and the City for Security Services – Sean Lewis, Assistant City Attorney. Motion by City Council to approve Resolution 2022-15 authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement between Pacific Security and the City of East Wenatchee for Security Services as presented in Exhibit A. i.
