ROLL CALL
Councilmembers Present: Councilmember Hendricks, Councilmember Bremmer,
Councilmember DeWitt, Councilmember Raab, Councilmember McCourt, and Mayor Lacy.
Councilmember Buckner and Councilmember Aiken were excused.
Council Action: A motion was made to excuse Councilmember Buckner from this Council
Meeting by Councilmember Raab, second by Councilmember Bremmer. The motion carried, 5-0.

Staff Present: Dana Barnard, Randy Harrison, Lori Barnett, Bob Goodman, Teresa Allen, and
Chuck Zimmerman.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
PRESENTATION
Director Terry Thomberry, RiverCom gave a brief background of her experience in the 911
Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) industry. Ms Thornberry said RiverCom will serve as the
PSAP for all of the law enforcement agencies in Chelan and Douglas counties, as well as for the
vast majority of fire and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) agencies in the bi-county region.
Chelan County will be the first to move to RiverCom on June 17th followed by Douglas County,
City of Wenatchee and City of East Wenatchee.
MAYOR'S REPORT
Mayor Lacy said after receiving the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce 2004 Directory
and Relocation Guide and the 2004 North Central Washington Visitors Guide from the
Wenatchee World, he sent letters to those businesses expressing the lack of promotion of City of
East Wenatchee events.
Mayor Lacy reminded Council of the Misawa Delegation reception welcoming Mayor Suzuki and
delegates being held at East Wenatchee City Hall April 29`h, 2004 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. He
added there will be a Wall of Recognition open house at the Japanese Garden from 5:00 p.m. to
6:00 p.m. and a potluck dinner hosted by the Sister City Association at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastmont
Junior High School.

Councilmember DeWitt, second by Councilmember Hendricks. The motion carried, 5-0.
