Authority. 2.1. RCW 35A.11.020 and RCW 35A.12.190 authorize the City Council to organize and regulate its internal affairs and to define the powers, functions and duties of its officers and employees. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 3. Voluntary Vaccination Incentive. An employee will accrue 4 hours of vacation leave by exercising one of the following options: 3.1. Presenting a vaccination record to the HR Generalist that shows that the employee has received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccination. 3.2. Presenting the HR Generalist with information that the employee has a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance that prevents the employee from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination. 3.3. Presenting the HR Generalist with a signed statement from a medical provider that states that the employee has a medical reason that prevents the employee from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination.
