AN ORDINANce O~·THE C~~Y O~·EAS~WENA~CH~h,wASH1NG~ON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY TO CHANGE
THE ZONING DESIGNATION ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
AT THE GRANT ROAD TERMINUS,COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE TOP
FOODS AND FOUR SEASONS PROPERTIES,FROM "W-I WAREHOUSING
AND INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT"TO "C-M COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT"ZONING AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the Planning Commission at a pUblic hearing on
November 28,1994,considered an amendment to the official zoning
map of the City and following the public hearing,made written
Findings and Conclusions and a recommendation that were forwarded
to the City council,together with the minutes of the meeting;and
WHEREAS,the City Council at a public meeting on December 5,
1994,reviewed the Findings and Conclusions of the Planning
Commission and the Planning Commission's recommendation contained
therein and adopted the findings,conclusions and recommendation of
the Planning Commission as the decision of the City Council;
NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST WENATCHEE,WASHINGTON,DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.The official zoning map of the City of East
Wenatchee,as codified by reference in section 17.04.010 of the
East Wenatchee Municipal Code ("EWMC"),is hereby amended by
changing the zoning classification of that certain property
commonly known as the Top Foods and Four Seasons Properties and
generally described as being at the terminus of Grant Road and more

fully described in Exhibit "A"attached to this Ordinance,which by
this reference is made a part herein as if set forth in full,from
"W-I Commercial and Industrial District"to a "C-M Community
Commercial District."overlay to the existing and continuing "R-L
Residential District"zoning.
section 2.The property rezoned is depicted in the map
attached hereto,marked as Exhibit "B",and incorporated herein by
this reference.
section 3.The City Planning Director is hereby instructed
to make the necessary amendments to the official zoning map of the
City of East Wenatchee to reflect the rezone.
section 4.This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force five (5)days after publication of this ordinance,or a
summary thereof consisting of the title.
