Funded Activity. The Grantee will purchase and distribute personal protective equipment to enable community compliance with COVID-19 public health precautions. b. Time of Performance. Costs incurred during the period of March 1, 2020 thru September 30, 2020. Final reimbursement requests must be submitted to the City by October 16, 2020. c. Acknowledgment. This project was supported by a grant awarded by US Department of the Treasury. Grant funds are administered by the Local Government Coronavirus Relief Fund thru the Washington State Department of Commerce. Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce - CARES Act Grant Agreement Pagel of 4 d. Records and Reports. Grantee will provide the City with a copy of all receipts and expenditures related to the Activity. e. Reimbursement Request. The Grantee must submit a Reimbursement Request substantially in the form attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A including the Agency name, address, contact information, Federal Tax ID Number, and data supporting the request for reimbursement. 2. The City's Obligations. Within 3o days of receiving the Reimbursement Request, the City will reimburse the Grantee in an amount not to exceed $8,061. 3. Indemnification. Grantee releases and shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City, its elected officials, officers, employees, agents and volunteers for any and all claims, demands, losses, negligent acts or omissions, and liabilities (including costs and all attorney's fees) to or by any and all persons and entities, including without limitation, their respective agents, licensees, or representatives, arising from, resulting from, or connected with this Agreement to the extent caused by the negligent acts, errors or omissions of Grantee, its partners, shareholders, agents, employees, or by the Grantee's breach of this Agreement. 4. Insurance. Grantee shall obtain and keep in force during the terms of the agreement the following insurance with companies or through sources approved by the State Insurance Commissioner pursuant to R.C.W. Title 48: a. Worker's compensation and employer's liability insurance as required by the State of Washington. s. No Discrimination. Grantee ensures that it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment in violation of RCW 49.60.180 or other applicable law prohibiting discrimination, unless based upon a bona fide occupational qualification as provided in RCW 49.60.180 or as otherwise permitted by other applicable law. Further, Grantee will not commit an act which violates RCW 40.60.215 or other applicable law prohibiting discrimination.
