NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP AMENDMENT
The East Wenatchee Planning Commission will conduct two public hearings during
their February 6, 2018 meeting. The meeting will begin at 5:30 PM in the Council
Chambers at East Wenatchee City Hall, 271 9th St. NE, East Wenatchee, WA. The
public hearings are part of the meeting agenda and will begin after the meeting is
convened. The subject of the hearings are:
a) CPRZ-2017-01: An application submitted by D+D Investments Washington, LLC
requesting approval of amendments to the Greater East Wenatchee Area
Comprehensive Plan and corresponding zoning district reclassifications for the re -
designation of approximately 5.6 acres from Office High Residential to General
Commercial. The properties involved are at 540, 542, 620 and 630 Rock Island
Road, East Wenatchee.
b) CPRZ-2017-02: An application submitted by Cal -Neva, LLC and Rogelio
Hernandez requesting approval of amendments to the Greater East Wenatchee
Area Comprehensive Plan and corresponding zoning district reclassifications for re -
designation of approximately 10 acres from Residential Medium Density to Office
High Residential. The properties are located at 2621 2nd Street SE, East
Wenatchee.
This is a joint project with Douglas County. Both proposals have been approved by
the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners.
Materials pertaining to the proposals under consideration may be reviewed at the
Community Development Department at 271 9th Street NE, East Wenatchee, WA
98802 during regular business hours or on the city's webpage at http:Heast-
wenatchee.com/government/departments/community-development. To obtain
materials in an alternate format, please contact Marcia Martz, Permit Technician at
509.884.5396.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing, at the date, time,
and location noted above, and to provide written and/or oral comments. Please
address written comments in advance of the meeting to Lori Barnett, Community
Development Director, at 271 9th Street NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802. Phone

Written comments and/or exhibits may be presented at the public hearing or
submitted in writing no later than 5:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing.
