City of East Wenatchee

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of East
Wenatchee, until 3:00:00 P.M. on January 30, 2020 for construction of the 3rd Street
SE and Highline Drive Roundabout Improvement Project. Bid proposals will be
received by the City Clerk at the City of East Wenatchee, City Hall, 271 9th Street
NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802 and will then and there be opened, read, and
tabulated publicly. The order of magnitude for the project is approximately $750,000.
Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered.
The project in East Wenatchee, Washington involves roundabout construction,
illumination, landscaping and concrete ramp upgrades in the vicinity of the 3rd Street
SE and Highline Drive intersection in East Wenatchee, WA all in accordance with the
plans, specifications and the WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications.
Time for completion of the work is limited to 50 working days.

downloading, and working with this digital project information. An informational copy
of the contract documents is available at the City of East Wenatchee City Hall and at
RH2 Engineering, 300 Simon Street SE, Suite 5, East Wenatchee, Washington.
Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified
check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at
least five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Checks shall be made
payable to the City of East Wenatchee. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into
such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the
time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City
of East Wenatchee.
The City of East Wenatchee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive
irregularities in the bid or in the bidding.
No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof; or
before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding forty-
five (45) days.
