NOTICE OF OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING
EAST WENATCHEE PLANNING COMMISSION
The East Wenatchee Planning Commission will conduct an open record public
hearing at their August 27, 2019 regularly scheduled public meeting. The meeting
starts at 5:30 PM and will be held in the Council Chambers at East Wenatchee City
Hall, 271 9th St. NE, East Wenatchee, WA. The public hearing will be part of the
meeting agenda and will begin after the meeting has convened. The purpose of the
public hearing is to consider the following:
Proposed amendments to chapters 17.08, 17.66, 17.72, and 17.74 of the East
Wenatchee Municipal Code establishing and amending controls relating to
cryptocurrency mining operations and data processing.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing, at the date, time,
and location noted above, and to provide written and/or oral comments. Please
address written comments in advance of the hearing to Lori Barnett, Community
Development Director, at East Wenatchee City Hall, 271 9th Street NE, East
Wenatchee, WA 98802. Phone 509-884-5396 and fax 509.886.6233 or via e-mail to
mmartz@east-wenatchee.com. All documents and materials pertaining to the
proposal under consideration may be reviewed at the Community Development
Department in East Wenatchee City Hall during regular business hours. To request
copies of materials in an alternate format, please contact Marcia Martz at 509-884-
5396. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection 10 calendar days prior
to the hearing and copies will be provided at no cost.
