Change Description
The lower set of stairs on the project did not have a side wall on both sides of the stairs. The
Contractor constructed a side wall on the stairs to simply their forming construction of the stairs.
The Contractor proposed to leave the additional side wall in place instead of removing it. The
Contractor proposed a price for the additional side wall to remain in place and the City accepted.
Plans: The side wall will be the same as shown on SP-02 detail "Handrail with Concrete Staircase".
Specifications: There are no changes to the Contract specifications.
Schedule: This sidewall did not effect the contractors critical path. No working days will be issued.
Cost: A lump sum amount was proposed by KRCI (see attached). The cost was agreed upon by
the Engineer. The cost will be paid as a new bid item titled "Additional Stair Wall" in lump sum.
