Present were Council- ' men Lawrence Letts, Art O'Neal and Si Neher; McGee and Chief of Police Joe Carl. Clerk Dorotha The minutes of the previous meeting were read and stand approved as read. The bills were presented to the Council as follows: Street Warrants nos. 640 - 642 Mott W. Liek $379.16 Wenatchee Farmers Exchange 8.91 John E. Liek 4.31 Current Expense Warrants nos. 2186 - 2192 Lowell 5perline 125.00 Cora Lake 65.00 Wenatchee Farmers Exchange 26.73 Joe H. Carl 453.05 Dorotha McGee 84.40 Rosemarie Hanson 12.93 Dorotha McGee 124.50 Si Neher made a motion to pay the bills; motion seconded by Art O'Neal and passed by a unanimous vote. Mayor Lannoye reported that a Street light has been installed ' at the corner of U.S. 2 and 13th Street. granted a waiver on permit charge for this The State Highway Dept. light. The Council gave unanimous approval on Mayor Lannoye's appointment of Mrs. Lawrence Letts to a full term on the East Wenatchee Library Board. Lawrence Letts made a motion to purchase a new chair for the Town Hall; motion seconded by Si Neher and passed by a unanimous vote. Mayor Lannoye stated that the next meeting will be held on January 3, 1967 at 7:00 p.m. A motion was made by Lawrence Letts to approve the time and date of the next meeting; motion was seconded by Si Neher and passed by a unanimous vote. Mrs. Christenson, Manager of the local liquor store, stated that she may move the liquor store to Main Street in a building now owned by the National Plumbing Co. She requested that a time limit of 10 minutes be set on 4 parking spaces in front of this building. After a general discussion with local business people, Si Neher made a motion to establish 4 - 10 minute limit parking spaces at this location, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Before this motion was seconded, Si Neher requested to amend the time to be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Mrs. Christenson to post a sign stating that parking was available in the rear of the building.
