The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee
Town Council was
called to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye.
Present were Council-

The minutes of the previous meeting were
read and stand approved
as read.
The bills were presented to the Council as

Si Neher made a motion to pay the bills;
motion seconded by Art
O'Neal and passed by a unanimous vote.

of Mrs. Lawrence Letts to a full term on
the East Wenatchee Library
Board.
Lawrence Letts made a motion to purchase a new chair for the Town
Hall; motion seconded by Si Neher and passed by a unanimous vote.
Mayor Lannoye stated that the next meeting will be held on
January 3, 1967 at 7:00 p.m. A motion was made by Lawrence Letts
to approve the time and date of the next meeting; motion was
seconded by Si Neher and passed by a unanimous vote.
Mrs. Christenson, Manager of the local liquor store, stated that
she may move the liquor store to Main Street in a building now
owned by the National Plumbing Co. She requested that a time
limit of 10 minutes be set on 4 parking spaces in front of this
building. After a general discussion with local business people,
Si Neher made a motion to establish 4 - 10 minute limit parking
spaces at this location, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Before this
motion was seconded, Si Neher requested to amend the time to be
from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Mrs. Christenson to post a sign
stating that parking was available in the rear of the building.

unanimous vote.
