The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee Town Council was
called to order by Mayor Forrest Lanneye. Present were Council-
men John Wells, John McDougall, Art O'Neal, Si Neher, Lawrence '
Letts, Chief of Police Joe Carl and Clerk Dorotha McGee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and stand approved
as read.
The bills were presented to the Council as follows:

Si Neher made a motion to pay the bills with the exception of ,
the bill from the Douglas County Sheriff; motion seconded by
Lawrence Letts and passed by a unanimous vote. The Clerk will
check the Police Court records regarding the bill from the
Sheriff's office.

' John Wells reported that a few street patches need to be made
before cold weather.
Si Neher stated that the new street numbers for Main Street
have been assigned and all persons concerned have been notified.
The Clerk was requested to ask the Wenatchee Daily World to
print a reminder to persons concerned to please notify the
P.U.D., Telephone co., Post Office Dept., and all others with
whom they correspond of the change of house and business numbers.
Bids for the Police car were opened and read by Mayor Lannoye.
Leonard Evans bid - 1967 Plvrpouth $1,103.44, with 4y91.70 additional
for disk brakes with power.
North Central Chevrolet Co. bid - 1967 Chevrolet Biscayne, 4$641.00,
John Wells made a motion to accept the bid from North Central
Chevrolet Co. for $641.00; motion was seconded by Lawrence Letts
and passed by a unanimous vote.
Lawrence Letts presented some sample Ordinances to the Council
for study. These ordinances related to the cleaning of vacant
lots. Mayor Lannoye read the present Town Ordinance relating
to same.
The Mayor requested that the City Attorney be notified that the cut-off
date for the Codification is December 1, 1966. Any Ordinances
needed to meet this deadline will have to be approved at the
November 21, 1966 meeting.
John McDougall made a motion to adjourn; motion was seconded by
Lawrence Letts and passed by a unanimous vote.
