Present were Councilmen Harry Patrick, Lawrence Letts, Ray Haase and Clerk Dorotha McGee. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and stand approved as read. Liek 445.44 Lawrence Letts made a motion to pay the bills; motion seconded by Ray Haase and passed by a unanimous vote. Mayor Lannoye presented the resignation of City Attorney Lowell Sperline. Mayor Lannoye Appointed John C. Carlson as Attorney for the town of East Wenatchee. Salary for the first month to be $125,00; and will be negotiated thereafter. Harry Patrick reported the shoulders of the roads have been graded and Main Street and Ninth Street has been washed. Mayor Lannoye reported that a local citizen has installed a water line across a street to an approximate depth of 1 inch. He instructed the City Attorney to write an ordinance requiring a permit for such crossings and setting forth the regulations and repairs to be made.
