HomeMy WebLinkAbout12/16/1968 - City Council - City Council Meeting MinutesDecember 16, 1968 1 1 1 The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee Town Council was called to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye; Present were Councilmen Ray Haase, Harry Patrick, Arnold Stevens; Attorney John Carlson and Clerk Dorotha McGee. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and stand approved as read. The bills were presented to the Council as follows: Current Expense Warrants nos. 2880 - 2891 Joe H. darl Charles Kay Walker Dorotha McGee Wenatchee Police Dept, Security Bank of Washington Samuel S. Mares John C. Carlson Dorotha McGee Betty Newell Eva Marie Walker Mott W. Liek Joe H. Carl (refund) Street Warrants nos. 799 - 800 Security Bank of Washington Mott W. Liek Arnold Stevens made a motion to pay Ray Haase and passed by a unanimous Arnold Stevens stated that a letter Wenatchee City Commissioners stating for use of the Wenatchee Dog Pound. Mr. Putnam has a dog kennel in East contacted regarding kennel services. $467.90 401.00 124.20 18.00 131.35 65.00 200.00 124.20 4.30 10.04 31.93 23.69 44.45 410.11 the bills; motion seconded by vote* should be written to the the proposal by East Wenatchee John Carlson reported that Wenatchee and he will be Ray Haase reported that the new street light was installed on the wrong side of the pole. Mayor Lannoye led a discussion on a proposal to increase the salary of the Police Judge to $100.00 per month beginning January 1, 1969. Arnold Stevens made a motion to approve said salary increase; motion seconded by Harry Patrick and passed by a unanimous vote. Ray Haase made a motion to adjourn; motion seconded by Arnold Stevens and passed by a unanimous vote. —Mayor
