The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee Town Council was called
to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Art
O'Neal, Douglas Hanna, Arnold Stevens, Hay Haase; Attorney John
Carlson, and Clerk Dorotha McGee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
The bills were presented to the Council as follows:

Ray Haase made a motion to pay the bills; motion seconded by Art
O'Neal and passed unanimously.
John Carlson reported that he had prepared an agreement regarding
the property the town is acquiring from Eastmont Investors, Inc.
and forwarded same to Lowell Sperline.
The Mayor and Council requested that a letter of appreciation be sent
to Mr. Eddie Mays.
Mayor Lannoye presented Resolution No. 1016 to the Council.
Resolution no. 1016 relates to the East Wenatchee Float building
being erected on Town property by the Chamber of Commerce. Art
O'Neal made a motion to approve and pass Resolution no. 1016;
motion seconded by Arnold Stevens and passed unanimously.
A discussion was held regarding the purchase of a new police car.
Arnold Stevens made a motion to purchase a 1970 Chevrolet Impala
from North Central Chevrolet Cc., for $1749.80, to be included in
the purchase price is the radio change over to be paid for by
North Central Chevrolet Co. Motion was seconded by Douglas Hanna
a nd passed unanimously.
Mayor Lannoye reported that he has a request for annexation of the
area contiguous to Baker street.
Mayor Lannoye requested that John Carlson hold the vacation
preceedings for 5th street until the Eastmont Investors can be
contacted.
Art O'Neal reported that sales tax had not beep included in the
price quoted for trimming the park trees.
Ray Haase made a motion to adjourn; motion seconded by Art O'Neal
and passed unanimously.
