The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee Town Council was called
to order by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Arnold
Stevens, Harry Patrick, Art O'Neal, Ray Haase; Clerk Dorotha McGee,
Charles Walker and John Tontz, Chairman of the East Wenatchee Planning
Commission.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
Art O'Neal reported that the trees in the park are being trimmed.
Harry Patrick reported that Mott Liek is hauling sand.
Ray Haase reported that one new street light has been installed.
Mayor Lannoye reported that the Douglas County Library Association
donated $93.56 to the Accumulative Library Fund.
Mayor Lannoye presented maps of the Main Street project to the
Council for study.
John Tontz presented an amended copy of the Comprehensive Plan
as approved by the East Wenatchee Planning Commission. The date
for the Public Hearing was set for November 17, 1969.
Mayor Lannoye appointed Dick Morrill to serve on the East
' Wenatchee Planning Commission,
Mayor Lannoye requested that all councilmen be present at the
next meeting as he may find it necessary to be out of town.
Ray Haase made a motion to adjourn; motion seconded by Art O'Neal
and passed unanimously.
