The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee Town Council was called to order
by Mayor Forrest Lannoye. Present were Councilmen Art O'Neal, Arnold Stevens,
Lawrence Letts; Attorney Jbhn Carlson and Clerk Dorotha McGee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
Jbhn Carlson presented Ordinance No. 137 to the Mayor and Council. Ordinance
No. 137 relates to the adoption of the Washington State Traffic Statutes.
Lawrence Letts made a motion to approve and adopt Ordinance No. 137; motion
seconded by Art OtNeal and passed by a unanimous vote.
A Public Hearing was held on the proposed Comprehensive Plan and map of the
proposed use of land outside of the area. The areas of proposed zones were
discussed as to location and as needed. The Council will await receipt of
the complete comprehensive plan. The date for the next hearing was set for
April 21, 1969.
Lawrence Letts made a motion to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement
with the City of Wenatchee for impounding dogs, at a cost of $10.00 per dog;
motion seconded by Art O'Neal and passed unanimously.
Arnold Stevens made a motion to adjourn; motion seconded by Art O'Neal and
passed unanimously.
