Present were Councilmen Art O'Neal, Ed Rich, Cliii Tvedten, Arnold btevens, Doug Hanna; Attorney John Carlson and Clerk Dorotha McGee. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. The bills were presented to the Council as Follows: Current expense warrants nos. 4056 - ANOW Guardian Lile Ins. Co. g 82.37 Arterial St. No. 11 - 12 Morrill Asphalt Paving Co. 350.00 Morrill Asphalt Paving Co. 1,o09.UU r'or payment November 1, 1971 Current`expense nos. 4057 - 4064 Joe H. Liek ' Arnold Stevens made a motion to pay the bills; seconded by Ed xich and p assed by a unanimous vote. John Carlson reported on the progress being made for property ae,�uisition for the Baker Street project. Doug Hanna made a motion to transfer ownership of the street lig:its on Main Street to the P.U.D.; seconded by Arnold Stevens and pas.ed unanimously. Bids for the new police car were presented as follows: Valley Auto Co. - 1972 Dodge Coronet, j,z�j.UU + tax; Leonard Evans, 1972 Plymouth Satellite, 3,429.58; North Central Chevrolet Co., 1972 Chev, Model no. 15469, 3,487.00; Bud 1,4estby, 1972 Olds Delta, 4.082.63; all prices plus tax. Arnold Stevens made a motion to accept the bid of Valley Auto Co. for a Dodge Coronet; seconded by Cliff Tvedten and passed unanimously. Ed Rich made a motion to have Morrill Ashpalt Paving Inc., pave 13 St. from Arbor Terrace to Baker St; seconded by Doug Hanna and passed unanimously. Jo::n Carlson presented Ordinance no. 169 to the Mayor and Council. Said ordinance amends section no 9 of Ordinance no. 54. Arnold Stevend moved to approve and pass Ordinance No. 169; seconded by Doug Hanna and passed unanimously. John Carlson presented Ordinance No. 170 to the Mayor and Council.
