The regular meeting of the East Wenatchee City Council was called
to order by Mayor Forrest 1'annoye. tresent were Councilmen Doug
Hanna, Cliff Tvedten, Arnold Stevens; Attorney John Carlson and
Clerk Dorotha McGee.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved by the Council.
Cliff Tvedtem moved to pay Police Officer Clifford Hahn $650.00 per
month; seconded by Doug Hanna and passed unanimously.

Arnold Stevens made a motion to pay the
Tvedten and passed unanimously.

Mayor Lannoye reported that 13th street needed to be resurfaced.
After a discussion, Cliff Tvedten moved to submit an application
for use of Arterial funds for said repair; 25 ft. wide, 2 inch mat
motion seconded by Arnold Stevens and passed unanimously.
The Clerk reported that filing for City offices will begin Sept. 3,
through Septetgber 17, 1971.
John Carlson presented Ordinance no. 167. Said ordinance relates
to a transfer of budgeted funds from Current Expense to Street
Construction. Arnold Stevens moved to pass Ordinance No. 167;
seconded by Cliff Tvedten and passed unanimously.
Doug Hanna made a motion to pass a resolution permiting the City
to purchase Tract No. 1 known as the Thompson property; seconded by
Cliff Tvedten and passed unanimously.
